ABOUT THE RECOGNITION

THE LCCI QUALIFICATION ADVANTAGE: WORLDWIDE RECOGNITION

Having served the international community for more than 120 years, the LCCI IQs are accredited and recognized by an increasing number of governments across the globe. Employers use these qualifications as benchmarks for hiring and retaining a globally competitive workforce, and educational institutions have used them to screen students for entry to higher education.

LCCI IQs form a crucial part of corporate training schemes as well as skills auditing and recruitment programs. Companies like Daimler-Chrysler have recognized the English for Business (EFB) qualification as an excellent route into employment by introducing as the final qualification in their in-company training schemes. Siemens, on the other hand, has incorporated it into its Management Accounting masters qualification at Siemens Academy.

In addition to progression routes to higher education, LCCI IQs are also recognized for entry into professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Public Relations which exempt holders of relevant LCCI IQs from their entry requirements.

Across Europe, LCCI English Language qualifications are recognized by universities and institutions of higher learning, including the University of Pavia (Italy) and the Verussakademie in Baden-Wurttenberg (Germany), as credit bearing modules as part of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). This assists higher education establishments in having a clearer understanding of comparative levels of language proficiency across the continent.

Thus, obtaining an LCCI – EFB will assure you of global marketability, whether you are seeking career advancement with multinational corporations, dealing with English-speaking counterparts in a functional capacity or even pursuing a higher education that will enhance your professional status.
