Many high school leavers face challenges especially if they come from a low income background and unable to go to university but to look for employment instead. Without work-based knowledge, work experience or market skills of any form, work opportunities are limited. And chances of bad choices and negative thinking may lead the young person to an unproductive life or never to realise his or her potential. Without going to the University is not the end of the road, but getting wrong advice and follow people blindly may well be a dead end.
Here FINET, in conjunction with the ANZ Institute, offers a work-based programme that prepares the young person for a commercial life, and potential a future career. This is a 6-month online programme with a work internship placement in Malaysia and Singapore. This programme is registered with as a micro-credential programme with the Human Resources Development Corp, Malaysia or HRDCorp. This is the Applied Diploma in Accounting & Business programme from the ANZ Institute, delivered by Finet Associates fully online, for an early career beginning. Finet Associates is a registered Training Provider with the HRDCorp for more than 25 years.

The modular content is compulsory for full completion and the award of the Applied Diploma. Assignments and assessment of learning are also required.
A combination of lectures from training instructors, coaches with self-learning or practice are necessary to completion within 6 months duration set for the programme.
This is a work-based training series aims at equipping the learner with an entry level knowledge and skills for a commercial career in either of –

This is not for academic purposes.
All FINET trainers and lecturers have accounting qualifications with teaching and industry experiences at various organizations such as the ACCA Malaysia, Hong Leong Bank, IJM, PNB, Selangor Human Resource Development Center, Tenaga Nasional, PERODUA & Western Digital. Other organizations that the FINET / ANZI Group work with include the Mongolian Banking & Finance Academy, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and the Cambodia Micro Finance Association.
This programme is designed for high school leavers who are unable to attend regular university programmes and need to find commercial employment quickly.
Minimum entry requirements include possession of SPM, the UEC high school certificate or GCE equivalent.
English and or Bahasa Malaysia language competency are necessary to successfully benefit from this programme. An admission test may be required at the discretion of Finet Associates which implements the programme training.
